Epic upgrade. Feb. 11, 2018.

Eight hospitals. Fifteen months of rolling Go-Lives. Dozens of systems consolidated into a single Epic application. Enough to fill half the Astrodome – that’s how many people we trained, 15,371 staff and 5,700 physicians.

Now, it’s time to upgrade.

As with all technology systems, innovations always lurk around the corner. It’s true for your smartphone, and the same goes for Epic.

Updates include a vibrant new look and feel. Changes will improve safety and quality of care, productivity and usability for patients and staff.

Here are some of the upgrade’s key benefits for patients, providers and staff.
